Life cannot always be planned.

This weekend a lot of plans were changed. We were going to go camping on a big ship with my Cub Scout pack, but we found out my Paw Paw is very sick. My parents say this is just another way to remind us that life cannot always be planned. Sometimes God has a different plan and you may not know why things are going the way they are. We will stay in town in case my grandmother needs us to be around.

I think that God has a big plan and he knows what is going to happen, but we do not. We make plans and we hope that we can have a great life. Sometimes things change, sometimes things end up BETTER than we thought. Sometimes things happen and it makes me sad. Like when my dog Bernie died. I didn't understand why he had to pass away, but God understands. Maybe God really liked Bernie and wanted him to come and play with him in Heaven. My mom and dad decided last year that I should go to school at home. This was not in the plan, but God must have known it was time to change the plan, because we are in a great school at home and I am learning things I could not learn at school. Maybe he has a plan for my Paw Paw. I am sure he does. I don't understand why people get sick or die. I do know that if people never died, the whole world would be crowded, and there wouldn't be enough food or water for everyone. I guess people go to Heaven to rest and make room for new born people on earth.

I am having a fun vacation!

I am going to be playing baseball! I am busy with scouts, and we are getting ready to go camping on a ship soon. I can't wait! I will post more on Monday- but we are on a break from school and I want to go outside and play.

I'll be back on Monday! Until then, here is a picture that Crystal just took of me writing this post. :)

My Zoomber, Zoomber mobile.

I just built a car from parts from a toy boat. It can go on water, and under water to the sea floor where it can drive. It has a trailer on it. You can detach the trailer and take the canoe out. You can live in the car, because the front has a house, like a house-boat. It has a map inside so you never get lost. You don't need fuel because it runs on electricity. My Zoomber, Zoomber car can supply an entire neighborhood with energy.

That is my Zoomber, Zoomber car!

My weekend with dad...

My dad and I had an excellent adventure this weekend! First, we packed up all of our winter clothing. We packed water-proof jackets and starched pants and headed off to....can you guess where? Gatlinburg, Tennessee to go skiing! We got to our cabin really late. There were a ton of people from Cub Scouts that we didn't know. My other scout friends were in another cabin. There were a few different Cub Scout packs together on this trip. We woke up the next morning and went up to the mountain. I took a skiing lesson with my friends. I learned how to stop, how to move, and how to make a V with my skis. After lessons dad and I got our ski poles and went skiing! We were on the mountain for six hours! We never took a break! I never got cold. I was having too much fun! After skiing dad and I went back to the cabin. We played pool with the Cub Scouts and their families. We stayed up really late talking with everyone in the cabin. The next morning we got up and headed home. It was a short trip, but FULL of adventure!
